With the success of her Fenty Beauty line, Rihanna has cemented her position as the world’s richest female musician.
Forbes has stated that the 33-year-old singer is worth $1.7 billion (£1.2 billion) according to a recent study. She is also only second in wealth to Oprah Winfrey, the richest female performer in the world, with a net worth of $2.7 billion (£1.9 billion).
The majority of Rihanna’s fortune, according to Forbes, stems from the worth of Fenty Beauty, which she owned 50% of. Her ownership in the Savage x Fenty lingerie brand, which is valued roughly $270 million (£193 million), is considered to account for the bulk of her fortune.
According to Forbes, Fenty Beauty is worth $2.8 billion on a conservative estimate, and all signs point to the brand continuing to grow in the future.
Her prior fashion house, Fenty Skin, as well as a range of fragrances, are reported to have added to her fortune.
Rihanna signed an open letter demanding for police reform in New York last year, with Nas and Megan Thee Stallion.
