Riky Rick, whose real name was Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, died at the age of 34, according to his family.
Rikhado died in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, February 23. His family announced the news yesterday. The reason of death has yet to be revealed.
On top of his rap success, Riky Rick was also a songwriter, composer, actor, entrepreneur, and fashion designer, with popular songs like ‘UNGAZINCISHI,’ ‘You and I,’ and ‘Stay Shining.’ Riky was also a member of the Boyz N Bucks group.
The rapper rose to prominence after the release of his track ‘Nafukwa’ in 2014, and his debut EP ‘Family Values’ went platinum shortly after. “Cotton Club Records,” Riky’s own record label, was founded subsequently.
