Rina Sawayama has dropped a new track, “Hold the Girl.” The title track from her forthcoming got premiered on Clara Amfo’s BBC Radio 1 show Future Sounds. It is due to be out on September 16 via Dirty Hill.
Sawayama has also announced a North American tour followed by the release of Hold the Girl. During the tour, she will perform in 13 shows across the United States. The tour will kick off at Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner before moving up and down the East Coast, via Texas and Southwest. She will conclude the tour with a final show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The upcoming album will include the previously shared tracks “Catch Me in the Air” and “This Hell” marking a follow-up to her 020’s self-titled album. She recently appeared on The Ton9ight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she performed “The Hell.”
