After arriving in Milan prior to the launch of the 2022 Pirelli calendar, which he photographed, Bryan Adams tested positive for Covid-19. This is the singer’s second fight with the virus in the last month.
Adams tested positive for Covid-19 before performing at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction in Cleveland. During the ceremony, he was supposed to pay tribute to Tina Turner. Adams claimed on Instagram at the time that he had no symptoms.
The subjects for the annual Pirelli calendar, which was unveiled this month, were chosen and photographed by Adams. Iggy Pop, Kali Uchis, Cher, Jennifer Hudson, Saweetie, and St Vincent are among the performers included in the calendar. Adams had scheduled a new project for the 2021 calendar but owing to Covid, it was shelved. When Pirelli asked him to do it again, Adams proposed that the subjects be photographed as though they were on tour.
