In honor of Sharon Van Etten’s Epic’s tenth anniversary, Shamir is the latest artist to cover a track from the indie classic.
The cover of “Dsharpg” by Shamir begins with thunderous guitar.
Lucinda Williams’ take on “Save Yourself,” Big Red Machine’s “A Crime,” and Idles on “Peace Signs,” is followed by Shamir’s rendition of “Dsharpg.”
Epic Ten, which will be published on April 16th, will feature the covers. The reissue comes with a documentary about the album’s creation as well as a concert featuring Van Etten and her band performing the album in its entirety.
