Slipknot are going to release a new album ‘The End, So Far’ soon. It is a follow-up to their 2019’s release We Are Not Your Kind and is due to be out on September 30. The band also shared a new track The Drying Song (Time to Sing) along with an announcement of the record. The Drying Song (Time to Sing) is accompanied by the video, directed by band member and percussionist Michael Shawn Crahan. The visual is shot in a mirrored room featuring haunting shots of a masked figure performing ahead of the crowd.
The band is also set for a North American tour kicking off this September in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. They will be joined by the tourmates Ice Nine Kills and Crown the Empire. During the trek, the band will perform in Texas and across the Southwest before finishing it at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento and Fivepoint Amphitheatre in Irvine.
