Snoop Dogg will be joining The Voice. The “I Wanna Thank Me” MC has signed on to act as a Mega Mentor for the current season of NBC’s Emmy-winning reality singing competition, the reality singing show revealed on Thursday (April 1).
The Doggfather will join Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Nick Jonas, and Blake Shelton as mentors for the artists who have advanced to the Battle Rounds.
The D-O-G-G’s words of wisdom will come as the singers prep for the Knockout Rounds, which begin on April 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET and put contestants against one another to sing a song of their choice alone while their opponent watches and waits.
