Stereoclip, a Belgian producer, has unveiled a new visual for his track “Inner City Angels.”
The single will be unveiled on streaming platforms on October 29 via Armada Music, with themes of “celestial wonder” and hints “towards the greater good.”
The video, directed by Alexis Jaulmes (French filmmaker) shows a man fleeing Paris in a medical gown, hitching a ride across the countryside with a variety of unusual characters, including a cameo from the producer himself.
Over the soulful house groove, spoken-word singers announce in French.
Maxime Merkpoel, commonly known as “Stereoclip,” began his musical career in his hometown of Brussels in 2010, making pieces inspired by a trip to Berlin.
His 2015 release ‘Easy Field’ drew the attention of the Delicieuse Musique team, who went on to record his first EP and LP, ‘Hometown,’ for the label, as well as embark on an international tour of Europe.
Since then, he’s performed at festivals and clubs including Tomorrowland, Dour, Piknic Elektronik, ADE, and Rex Club, as well as releasing his second Armada Music album, ‘Travel.’
‘Inner City Angels’ is from his third EP, which will be released on November 26 and features the singles ‘All Over Magic’ and ‘Sunset Drive.’
