Loretta Lynn’s Still Woman Enough debuts at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, marking her 42nd top ten appearance. According to MRC Data, the album starts with 11,000 equivalent album units (10,000 from album sales) in the week ending March 25, following its March 19 launch.
Only Willie Nelson (53) and Dolly Parton (46) have had more top 10s in the chart’s 57-year history.
The 13-song collection was produced by Lynn’s daughter Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, and debuted at No. 5 on Top Album Sales, a career high for Lynn. It features collaborations with Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood on the title track, Margo Price (“One’s on the Way”), and Tanya Tucker (“You Ain’t Woman Enough”), as well as new songs and revised versions of previously released tracks.
Lynn’s most recent Top Country Albums chart appearance was with Wouldn’t It Be Great, which debuted and ranked at No. 8 in October 2018.
