Janet Weiss and Sam Coomes’ Quasi have announced that their upcoming album will be released through Sub Pop. They haven’t given any details about the project’s release, but they have announced a run of North American tour dates.
“Mole City,” Weiss and Coomes’ last Quasi album, was released in 2013. In 2020, they promised new content with the release of “RottenWrock,” a “quarantine demo.” Weiss announced her resignation from Sleater-Kinney in 2019 after the release of The Center Won’t Hold, and the next Quasi LP will be her first new endeavour since then.
