Tanya Tagaq has released a trailer for Ever Deadly, a new documentary featuring a collaboration with filmmaker Chelsea McMullan.
Ever Deadly will be premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival next month. The film features visuals of a concert and sequences filmed in Nunavut, Canada, the largest and northmost territory of the country.
Tagaq released her fifth studio record back in January, which includes some of its lyrics drawn from her book Split Tooth. The book was nominated for the long list of the 2022 Polaris Prize, an annual award for Canada’s best album of the year.
