The Bug has announced the release of his new album, “Fire,” via Ninja Tune on August 27th.
Long-time collaborators Flowdan, Roger Robinson, Moor Mother, Manga Saint, Hilare, Irah & Daddy Freddy, as well as newer faces like Logan, Nazamba, and FFSYTHO, will all appear on the full album.
Kevin Martin’s first solo album under the alias The Bug in seven years, and the third instalment in a trilogy that began with ‘London Zoo’ in 2008 and continued with ‘Angels & Devils’ in 2014.
The Bug and Dis Fig collaborated on the album ‘Blue to Black’ last year. He also contributed to the compilation ‘The Sacred Rage,’ which raised funds for Beirut in the aftermath of the city’s tragic explosion last August.
