The Comet Is Coming have come with the announcement of a new record named Hyper-Dimensional Extension Beam. It is set to release on September 23 via Impulse! Records. The new release is a follow-up to their 2009’s “Trust in the Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery” and “Afterlife.” The announcement came along with the release of a new track, “Code.”
The Comet Is Coming is a trio group including saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings, synth player and producer Dan Leavers, and drummer Max Hallet. Shabaka dropped a solo EP ‘Afrikan Culture’ earlier this year. He also announced the breakup of his band group Sons of Kemet.
