Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have released a video for “We’re on Our Way Now,” a new track from the band’s forthcoming best-of album Back the Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021) that is influenced by French New Wave.
The video stars Matt Smith from The Crown in an homage to Jean Luc Godard’s French New Wave classic Breathless, which Gallagher previously announced.
Back the Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021), which will be released on June 11th, includes 18 Gallagher-curated tracks, including two new songs, “We’re on Our Way Now” and “Flying on the Ground.” The collection’s deluxe edition includes a bonus disc with remixes, previously unreleased acoustic versions, instrumentals, and more.
