Music lovers chose the 27-year-old Colombian pop star’s romantic song as their favorite new music release of the week via a poll conducted on Friday, 7th of January.
The second song from Yatra’s Dharma album, “Amor Pasajero” topped the list with almost 44% approval outperforming new songs such as The Weeknd’s “Dawn FM”, “Fingers Crossed” by Lauren Spencer-Smith, “DS4Ever” by Gunna, Maren Morris’ “Circles Around This Town”, and other new songs.
The song which portrays the emotional instability of Yatra as he faces a broken relationship was produced by Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres.
The Weeknd’s “Dawn FM” came second on the list with 31 vote percentage approval.
