On Tuesday (Jan. 11), Vanessa Bryant honored Mary J. Blige’s 51st birthday with a touching video showing her late husband, Kobe Bryant the basketball legend.
Vanessa captioned the video, “Happy Birthday MJB.” Naomi Campbell, who commented on the post explained that the post was from December 2019 at Diddy’s star-studded birthday party.
Mary J. Blige will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg in February. This will be Blige’s second time performing at the big game, a whole 20 years after performing at the epic 2001 show alongside Britney Spears, *NSYNC, Aerosmith, and Nelly.
The halftime show will also usher the arrival of the artist’s upcoming 14th studio album, Good Morning Gorgeous, which is set to be released on February 11, two days before the game. The album, Blige’s first full-length release since 2017’s Strength of a Woman, was preceded by songs “Good Morning Gorgeous” and “Amazing,” which featured DJ Khaled.
