This summer, Thundercat will go on a major North American tour. He’ll begin on July 23 in Denver, Colorado, and then make stops in Las Vegas, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston, and Chicago, among other places, before ending on September 25 at Format Festival in Bentonville, Arkansas. Thundercat will support Red Hot Chili Peppers and Khruangbin on his tour, as well as headlining several festivals.
Thundercat’s most recent studio album, “It Is What It Is,” was released in 2020. Thundercat went on to win a Grammy for the album, and in 2021, he toured extensively with Channel Tres. Later that year, he released “Satellite,” his most recent song. He also re-released his debut album, The Golden Age of Apocalypse, recently.
