Tiffany Haddish is featured in a new video for Ty Dolla $ign’s remix of “Be Yourself,” which also features Jhené Aiko and Bryson Tiller.
The song’s video, which is an ode to strong and independent women, builds on that theme by portraying Haddish in a one-sided relationship. Haddish’s character finally breaks away from her partner and joins Ty Dolla $ign on a video shoot, where she performs a lowrider dance.
The song “Be Yourself,” recorded by Mustard, first appeared on the singer’s 2020 album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and featured Aiko in the original version, with Tiller joining the remix in March. Ty Dolla $ign and Alex Bittan directed the music video, which features both Aiko and Tiller.
Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Thundercat, Big Sean, Roddy Ricch, Kehlani, Future, Young Thug, and Gunna all contributed to the singer’s third album, Featuring Ty Dolla Sign.
