Tirzah’s new single, “Send Me,” was released this week through Domino.
It’s the first time the Londoner has released new music since her 2018 album, ‘Devotion.’
‘Send Me’ is classic Tirzah: sparse, heart-wrenching, and sumptuous. It was written and produced with Tirzah’s close partners Mica Levi and Coby Sey, who were both instrumental in the creation of ‘Devotion.’
It gives an insight into Tirzah’s first year of frequent touring in 2018 and 2019, which was the first time she had done so. It delves into her balancing act of performing as an artist on a regular basis while also adjusting to motherhood.
