‘VOYAGE’ AND “REVOLUTIONARY” IS THE NEW ALBUM & CONCERT ANNOUNCED BY ABBA

ABBA is reuniting for the release of their new album, “Voyage,” on November 5th through Polydor/Universal Music.

All of the songs on the 10-track album are brand new, with two lead tracks, “I Still Have Faith in You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down,” available to hear now.

In addition to the album announcement, ABBA has revealed that they will conduct a “revolutionary” concert in London next year at a custom-built, 3,000-seat arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Industrial Light & Magic, the studio founded by Star Wars creator George Lucas, assisted in the development of the avatars, which are characterized as “first-of-its-kind technology” that uses motion-capture of each member to produce the young digital versions.

ABBA’s final album, “The Visitors,” was released in 1981, just prior to their initial separation in 1983, which was prompted in part by the dissolution of the band’s marriages. Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson married in 1978 and divorced in 1981, while Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog married in 1971 and divorced in 1979.

They officially reunited in 2016 at a party in Stockholm, stating that they had recorded new songs together in 2018.
