Waxahatchee is back with the Release of the Latest Track “Tomorrow”

The kid-friendly Americana track “Tomorrow,” from Waxahatchee’s forthcoming animated series El Deafo, has been released.

Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee speaks about forging her own path as the song begins with a shimmering keyboard. El Deafo is a vague autobiography about Cece Bell, a writer who lost her hearing as a child.

Following Crutchfield’s this years’ release of Woody Guthrie’s “Talking Dust Bowl Blues,” “Tomorrow” is Crutchfield’s second single. In March 2020, she delivered her EP Saint Cloud, which coincided with the outbreak of the coronavirus in the United States.

Crutchfield will continue traveling for the promotion of Saint Cloud early next year, beginning on January 17th in Riviera Maya, Mexico at Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky festival. On February 3rd, she’ll perform two nights in Birmingham, Alabama, before touring key cities across the United States. The tour will end in Boston on June 21st.
