Will Sheff of Okkervil River, has announced a debut solo album, “Nothing Special” arriving this fall. It is set to out on October 7 via ATO. It includes guest contributions from Eric D. Johnson, Cassandra Jenkins, and Christian Lee Houston, among others.
The artist has also shared the first track from the album. Estrangement Zone came along with an accompanying video directed by Johnny North. Sheff wrote the track after getting inspired by King Crimson, Bill Fay, and Joni Mitchell along with the glimpses of natural wonders such as deserts, mountains, and lakes.
