“… On Reflection,” a new joint album by William Basinski and Janek Schaefer, has been announced. Temporary Residence Ltd will release it on April 29. The five-track collection kicks off with “… On Reflection (One).”
Basinski and Schaefer worked together for eight years to create the record, which they assembled from bits discovered in their own archives. They produced “. . . On Reflection” on long distance. The record is dedicated to Harold Budd, who passed away in 2020.
