Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA has unleashed the latest album in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer DJ Scratch, ‘Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater’, which will be released on 36 Chambers ALC and MNRK Music Group.
‘Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater,’ which was formed in quarantine, features verses from both RZA and Bobby Digital, with the rapper moving between the two monikers and their accompanying emotions throughout the tracklist. Meanwhile, the production is reminiscent of boombap hip hop from the golden era.
The first track, ‘Fate of the World,’ was released online to kick off the project, and a new website, BobbyDigital.com, was launched with a slew of immersive online content for fans to interact with. RZA stated in November that ‘Bobby Digital and The Pit of Snakes,’ his first step into comic books, would be released in May 2022. The musician filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against accused merchandise bootleggers earlier this year.
