Beginning later this month, Goldie will take over London’s XOYO for a seven-week residency.
The Metalheadz label boss will bring together a diverse group of artists from the D&B, jungle, and techno genres for the residency, which takes off on Friday, July 23rd with 2 Bad Mice, Fabio, and Tasha, among others.
Goldie will be joined by Sicaria Sound, Doc Scott, Commix, David Rodigan, DJ Flight, Grooverider, Dillinja and Randall throughout the next six weeks. Every week, he’ll take over both rooms of the club, and the final party, on September 3rd, will see him recreate the energy and vibe of the Metalheadz events that used to take place at London’s famed but now defunct Blue Note club.
The residency comes after Goldie’s ‘Timeless’ album was released on vinyl for the 25th anniversary last month.
