‘Midnight Is Comin”, a new mix record curated by ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and is going to release on May 27th via Midnight Shift.
DJ Nobu, Ryo Murakami, Gabber Modus Operandi, Sapphire Slows, and others are among the “producer friends” enlisted by the Japanese DJ for the 12-track compilation.
Sapphire Slows’ “rhythmic slomo haze” and DJ Nobu’s “exponentially pulsing colours” are promised in the press release, as well as a “frequency soup of twelve outstanding tracks that when sequenced together, become part of a greater, grander story: Midnight is Comin’.”
¥ØU$UK €UK1MAT$U made his live debut in 2014 at DJ Nobu’s storied FUTURE TERROR event, and he has also performed at Berlin’s Atonal Festival, where he performed every year from 2017 to 2019.
During the peak of the coronavirus pandemic in Japan in 2020, DJ Nobu made a direct request to the Japanese government for compensation for clubs and venues.
