Willow Smith stunned her mother Jada Pinkett Smith with a performance by Wicked Wisdom, her mother’s former metal band. During Wednesday’s Red Table Talk episode, the early Mother’s Day gift arrived.
Willow reflects on the band’s impact on her as she grew up prior to the show. She goes on to say that she is her mother’s “biggest fan.”
Willow reunites her mother with her old bandmates around the 32:00 minute mark. Willow also joins the band to play “Bleed All Over Me,” one of her favourite Wicked Wisdom songs.
Willow’s new pop-punk album, “Transparent Soul,” was released last month, and the performance coincides with it. She told Rolling Stone that she’s been attracted to rock music since she was a child, when she accompanied her mother on tour with Wicked Wisdom.
