In a New Single, RZA & Flatbush Zombies Pay Tribute to Quentin Tarantino

Following up on their horrorcore collab “Plug Addicts,” The RZA and Flatbush Zombies have released a new song named “Quentin Tarantino,” which is a homage to the filmmaker’s work.

From name-checking, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, “Mr. Orange,” and Uma Thurman to the Wu-Tang maestro continually asking, “What the fuck’s up in that briefcase?,” a homage to the legendary MacGuffin in Pulp Fiction, both the track and the video draw allusions to Tarantino’s work.

RZA and Flatbush Zombies’ “double feature” concludes with “Quentin Tarantino,” but the producer will return in 2022 with a range of projects, featuring his previously announced RZA vs. Bobby Digital LP (which was supposed to be released in August but never arrived) and Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater, a DJ Scratch-produced solo album.
