‘Cayó,’ a new entry to Arca’s KICK series, has been unveiled.
Arca’s latest offering, which comes with a fresh new music video, sees the singer, producer, and multifaceted artist return to a period of self-reflection when she first recorded the single in 2020.
The song first debuted on Arca’s DIVA EXPERIMENTAL FM Twitch stream in early 2020, with Tim Hecker providing additional production.
The track is part of Arca’s ‘KICK’ series, which was created during a lockdown and delivered in five parts, four of which were unveiled as a surprise at the beginning of December.
At the end of 2021, ‘KICK ii,’ ‘KicK iii,’ ‘kick iiii,’ and ‘kiCK iiii’ were all unveiled in a massive release. The series has now been collected as a boxset, which will be released in May.
All four albums, as well as her previously unveiled ‘KiCk I will be included in a limited-edition KICK boxset, which will be released on May 20 and include all LPs on wax vinyl.
Arca opens her digital webstore MUTANT, capping off an incredible year for the singer and producer. According to the website, the store would sell everything from clothing to technology to art.
