A new album and a world tour have been announced by the Afghan Whigs. How Do You Burn? by Royal Cream/BMG will be released on September 9th. It includes the new track “The Getaway,” which is accompanied by a new music video that premiered on 3 May.
Mark Lanegan, who died earlier this year, provided the voice for the follow-up to 2017’s In Spades, which was recorded in 2020. “It was Mark who named the album,” says frontman Greg Dulli. Susan Marshall, Van Hunt, and Marcy Mays are also featured.
