Alex G appeared as a guest on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Falcon. He performed on the single “Runner.” It was Alex G’s first prominent appearance on the late-night TV set. He last appeared on the Last Call With Carson Daly show in 2017.
The new track is the part of the album God Save the Animals which is set to out on September 23 via Domino. It is a follow-up to his previously released album House of Sugar and also includes the single “Blessings.” ‘God Save the Animals’ features keyboardist Molly Germer, guitarist Sam Acchione and drummer Tom Kelly, bassist John Heywood.
