The Apple Drop, Liars’ upcoming album, will be released on August 6th through Mute, and features a new song called “Sekwar.”
“Sekwar” features a stumbling blend of lurching rhythms, rich guitars, and pulsing synths that often collide and sometimes come together in unison.
The music video for “Sekwar,” directed by Clemens Habicht and starring Andrew as a spelunker venturing into a mysterious cave, is out now. Andrew’s character continues to get crazier as the storey progresses, and the clip concludes with him putting together a tiny electronic gadget that completely warps the world.
