Billie Eilish unveiled a new kiss-off track, “Lost Cause,” on Wednesday, along with a music video that debuted accompanying the song.
“Lost Cause,” the fourth song from Eilish’s forthcoming sophomore album Happier Than Ever, shows Eilish taking someone down a peg for their apathy. Eilish and her friends party and hang out in a Los Angeles mansion that seems like a TikTok hype house in the video.
Darkroom/Interscope Records will release Happier Than Ever on July 30th. “My Future,” “Your Power,” and “Therefore I Am” are some of Eilish’s other album singles. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was her breakout debut in 2019, and Happier Than Ever is the follow-up.
Eilish has already scheduled a world tour in support of the new album, which will commence up on February 3rd, 2022 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans and conclude on April 6th through 9th at the Forum in Los Angeles. Eilish will perform at four festivals this summer before her 2022 run: Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Firefly in Delaware, Governors Ball in New York, and Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin.
