Britney Spears has returned recently to Instagram after a short break, and she’s back to posting selfies.
The pop sensation shared a pair of photos of herself on Friday night (Sept. 24), in which she can be seen happily gazing up at the camera. Spears’ appearance in the photos, which she wore with a flowery crop top and her hair pulled partly back, seems to remind her of some older pictures — her yearbook photographs.
Spears’ actual yearbook portraits had previously circulated on the internet.
Fiancé Sam Asghari added four heart emoticons to her post shared on Instagram, which was posted on the same day that the documentary Controlling Britney Spears launched on FX and Hulu. The most recent documentary about Spears proceeded to lift the veil on what she went through during her father Jamie Spears’ conservatorship, which began in 2008.
