Budakid, a Berlin-based producer and DJ, has collaborated with Amsterdam’s Nordfold on a two-track record titled ‘United.’
This week’s record is boosted by the reawakening of dance floors after two years of quiet; the duo is frequent collaborators.
‘United,’ the record’s title track, is an atmospheric cut featuring scaling melodies and chords that create a throbbing, captivating song.
The second track, titled ‘Aika,’ is a rave, dance-floor heavy piece with pounding and pacier jiffies that create an acid-tinged warmer. The muffled voices emphasize the hypnotic feeling interwoven throughout the record, offering cohesion while displaying two sides of the duo’s skill set.
Both producers have put out the launch on a lot of different labels, like Lost & Found, Anjunadeep, and Knee Deep In Sound. Each of their production styles is different, but they work well together to create the atmosphere of “United.”
