Asheville, California band Wednesday has been signed with Dead Oceans, as the band announced. They celebrated the occasion with the release of the single “Bull Believer”, which includes references to country music podcast Cocaine & Rhinestones.
Wednesday is comprised of Hartzman, Margo Shultz, MJ Lenderman, Xandy Chelmis, and Alan Miller. Last year, they issued Twin Plagues which was one of the 31 Best Rock albums of 2021. Earlier this year, they released a solo album called Boat Songs featuring the track “Tastes Just Like It Costs.”
