Drake began a new Toronto-based concert series October World Weekend on July 28. It kicked off at the local venue called History. He brought fellow Canadian Nelly Furtado on stage to perform live “Promiscuous” and “I’m Like a Bird.”
Drake announced October World Weekend this month. The three-day event will conclude on Monday, August 1. The selected venues for the events include various sets in Toronto featuring Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Baby along with an act as “All Canadian North Stars.”
