EWAN MCVICAR UNVEILED THE LATEST ALBUM, “MOVIN’ ON OVER”

Ewan McVicar, a Scottish producer, and DJ has unveiled his new album, ‘Movin’ On Over.’

It’s released on Optimo Music Digital Danceforce (OMDD), with the musician citing their ‘Optimo Trax’ as a major influence.

The EP highlights McVicar’s love for older ‘Optimo Trax’ albums, as well as his love for the underground house music scene and parties at Glasgow’s Sub Club.

Three tracks make up the EP. With thumping basslines and acid elements, the title track ‘Movin’ On Over’ pays homage to Chicago’s Ron Hardy, while the next track ‘Slowing Up The Freak’ follows suit, with hypnotic and dance-floor driven influences.

There’s also an IKONIKA remix of ‘Slowing Up The Freak,’ which emphasizes the trippy, freak-like melody even more.

‘Which Way To Go?’ concludes the album with computer samples and acid house basslines, evoking the album’s late-night origins – and making it potentially perfect for the afterparty.
