FIEDEL AND ERRORSMITH ARE PREPARING TO DROP THEIR FIRST LP TITLED ‘MMM’.

MMM’s first collaborative full-length LP, ‘On the Edge,’ will be delivered by DJ Fiedel and Errorsmith.

DJ Fiedel, a Berghain resident, and Errorsmith, the creator of Native Instruments’ Razor synth, are going to deliver their first joint album, which is characterized as “showing their more tender side.”

The Berlin-based pair is recognized and appreciated by partygoers and music lovers in the rave scene as Messe der Meister von Morgen. With songs like ‘Donna’ and ‘Nous Sommes MMM,’ they’ve established themselves as one of Berlin’s most respected acts.

With its “depth and emotional complexity,” “On the Edge” reveals their more “tender” side. It defies genre by not fitting into any of them, but it borrows heavily from techno, dub, UK bass, and gqom for inspiration and sound.

Fiedel and Errorsmith first met in 1994 and began collaborating on music the following year. They’ve created a reputation for themselves individually over the last few decades, with Errorsmith’s 2017 album ‘Superlative Fatigue’ receiving great praise for being mostly recorded on his self-designed synthesizer. Fiedel is a co-founder of the Wax Treatment party in Berlin, where he also runs the Killasan sound system.

Since they started working together, the duo has been self-releasing their music because they believe it gives them greater freedom and creativity with their production. They’ve always believed in “quality over quantity,” and they believe their first full-length LP, which is also self-released, is a good example of this.

They waited 11 years after the success of ‘Donna’ in 1997 to release another album, so the announcement of a full-length album has been eagerly awaited. The record ‘Donna’ was proven to be the most popular in the history of Glasgow’s Rubadub record store.

On October 28th, 2021, they will release their first self-released album.
