Disney and Pixar unveiled “Nobody Like U,” a song written by Billie Eilish and Finneas for the animated boyband 4*TOWN from the Pixar film “Turning Red,” on Friday.
Finneas is in charge of the vocals for Jesse, who is part of a band that also includes Robaire (Jordan Fisher), Aaron T. (Topher Ngo), Aaron Z. (Josh Levi), and Tae Young (Grayson Villanueva). Eilish and Finneas composed all of 4*Town’s music, as well as two other tracks performed by the group: “1 True Love” and “U Know What’s Up,” both of which have yet to be delivered. The original score for the film was composed by Ludwig Göransson.
Rosalie Chiang voices Mei Lee, a vivacious, energetic, and always-busy 13-year-old whose life is turned upside down when she discovers she has the capacity to morph into a gigantic red panda when she gets too excited. While Mei is first frustrated by what her mom Ming (voiced by Sandra Oh) describes as a “little quirk [that] runs in our family,” she soon learns how to control the beast within and when needed, even put it to good use.
Domee Shi’s film Turning Red will be released on March 11th.
