Floorplan’s upcoming two-track record, ‘Get My Mansion Ready / Out Of Control,’ will be released on Classic on November 5.
The duo, which consists of Robert Hood and his daughter, Lyric Hood, will release their second album on Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter’s label “Classic.” Defected, a key participant in the music industry owns the imprint, which was founded 30 years ago in 1994.
The massive ‘Get My Mansion Ready’ is the first single on the upcoming album, highlighting the duo’s distinct sound. Floorplan’s second single, ‘Out Of Control,’ is stylistically similar to the duo’s Detroit house sound.
The new album follows the duo’s debut on Classic earlier this year with ‘Right There / Holy Ghost,’ which introduced Floorplan fans to their trademark four-to-the-floor and Gospel vocal-crossed alignments.
On November 5, Classic will release ‘Get My Mansion Ready / Out Of Control.’
