FORMER NBA PLAYER, RONY SEIKALY DROPPED DEBUT EP “MOONWALK”

Rony Seikaly, a former NBA player, has dropped a new house LP titled “Moonwalk.”

The 26-track album, released on Seikaly’s Stride Records, features a sample and voice note from pal Diddy on ‘Won’t Stop Now,’ a sample of Michael Jordan on ‘The Last Dance,’ and a collab with Venezuelan-Iranian artist Sasha on ‘Envidia,’ “a warm, uplifting cut that oozes positivity and optimism.”

In addition to the album’s original songs, a series of ‘Moonwalk’ remixes by Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Black Circle, Andrea Oliva, Mathias Tanzman, Davide Squillace, Furcoat, and Davi, are scheduled to follow.

Since retiring from professional basketball at the end of the 2000 season, Seikaly has built a reputation as a house producer and DJ. He began producing ‘Moonwalk’ during lockdown, which allowed him “the opportunity to have time to dedicate myself completely to music.”

In 2010, the Miami-based Lebanese-American champion dropped his first album, titled “House Calls,” and in 2019, he founded his own record label, Stride.
