GORILLAZ SHARED A NEW TRACK “NEW GOLD” FEATURING TAME IMPALA AND BOOTIE BROWN

Gorillaz have announced a new album, “Cracker Island” which arrives on February 24 via Warner/Parlophone. The record includes a new single “New Gold”, featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown.

Thundercat is featured on the title track of Cracker Island. It also includes guest contributions from Stevie Nicks, Adeleyo Omotayo, Bad Bunny, and Beck. The album recorded in Los Angeles and London is produced by Remi Kabaka, Greg Kurstin, and Kabaka Jr.

Cracker Island is a follow-up to 2021’s Meanwhile EP, 2020’s collection Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, and The Now Wow of 2018. Song Machine included contributions from Elton John, Peter Hook, Elton John, Slowthai, Schoolboy Q, and more.
