The soundtrack for Gully, the feature film debut of music video director Nabil (Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar), will be delivered on June 4th, the same day the film premieres in theatres, according to Epic Records. (From June 8th, Gully will be available on VOD.)
Gully explores the lives of three disgruntled teens in Los Angeles, highlighting the difficulties faced by America’s underprivileged youth. Kelvin Harrison Jr., Charlie Plummer, and Jacob Latimore star in the film, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2019.
Nabil has collaborated with Kids of Immigrants to create a merchandise line for the film, which includes sweatshirts, a hat, and a T-shirt. The Surf Bus Foundation, a non-profit organisation that works to encourage inner city youngsters to have a healing connection to the sea, will get 100% of the revenue from the merchandise. The Gully website has a lot more information.
