Iceage Seeks Solace Among Friends and Family in ‘Shelter Song’ Video

Iceage have released a new song entitled “Shelter Song” from their upcoming album Seek Shelter, which will be released on May 7th through Mexican Summer.

With huge guitars and the Lisboa Gospel Group backing up frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, “Shelter Song” has shades of Britpop at its most reverb-soaked and festival-ready.

The song is accompanied by a video directed by Catherine Pattinama Coleman, a longtime friend, and collaborator, who provides an intimate look at the band’s life in Copenhagen while surrounded by family and friends.

Seek Shelter’s third release, “Shelter Song,” follows “Vendetta” and “The Holding Hand.” Iceage collaborated with Sonic Boom, an outside producer, for the first time on the new album, which was recorded in the vintage Namouche studio in Lisbon, Portugal. Seek Shelter is the follow-up to Iceage’s Beyondless, which was released in 2018.
