Cassandra Jenkins is the latest artist to contribute to Covers of Covers, a collection commemorating the magazine Under the Radar’s 20th anniversary. Cassandra Jenkins has uploaded her cover of the Animal Collective and Vashti Bunyan track “It’s You” from the 2005 Prospect Hummer album, after EMA’s cover of Modest Mouse’s “Trailer Trash.”
The compilation also includes Cults, Peter Bjorn and John, Water From Your Eyes, Black Belt Eagle Scout, Alex Lahey, and others, in addition to EMA and Cassandra Jenkins. Sweet Relief Musicians Fund will benefit from the compilation’s sales. Time Skiffs, Animal Collective’s new album, will be released on February 4th.
