Jesy Nelson Says She Hasn’t Said Anything to Little Mix Since Her Departure

Jesy Nelson is the October cover star of Glamour UK. In the accompanying interview, which was published on Wednesday (Oct. 5), the former Little Mix member discussed how she has prioritized her mental health since leaving the highly successful girl group and revealed that since her departure in December 2020, she hasn’t spoken to the group members – Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
Nelson stated that she has had no contact with them even though Pinnock and Edwards both welcomed children in August. She must keep her distance. Hopefully, they will be reunited in the future because she loves them and they are like sisters in so many ways, but for the time being, they are not speaking.
Last year, Nelson announced that she was leaving the band. “Being in the band has taken a significant toll on my mental health.
Nelson has been able to retain a healthy self-image since left the group. She said I don’t have that continual concern that I’m going to let someone down or say something that will offend people.” “It’s so utterly freeing, and it’s been enormous for my mental state.
Nelson is preparing to release “Boyz,” her debut solo single, featuring Nicki Minaj. The singer stated in the interview that the song was inspired by her previous romance with actor Sean Sagar.
“Boyz” will be available for streaming on Friday, October 8.
