Jorja Smith has announced the release of her new album, Be Right Back, on May 14th. “Gone,” an electro-soul track built around a watery piano loop and glitchy drums, served for the eight-track album. The singer takes a nighttime stroll while reflecting on loss in the song’s video, which was edited by Smith and Ivor Alice and taken by Erin Corrian-Alexis.
Be Right Back follows her 2018 debut LP, Lost & Found, and includes the March-released track “Addicted.” She followed up with the 2019 single “Be Honest” (featuring Burna Boy) and the 2020 singles “By Any Means” and “Come Over” (featuring Popcaan).
