Destroyer has shared a new track from their upcoming album Labyrinthitis. The song is titled “June,” and it is accompanied by a music video which is directed by David Galloway and Dan Bejar of Destroyer. In the video, we see a burrito being created by hand, delivered by a guy dressed in a futuristic costume, and dropped off at Bejar’s residence, where he immediately starts singing to it.
Merge will release Labyrinthitis on March 25. Following “Tintoretto, It’s for You” and “Eat the Wine, Drink the Bread,” Destroyer has unveiled the third song from the forthcoming album, “June.” Have We Met, Bejar’s previous album under the Destroyer alias was released in 2020.
Destroyer will embark on a North American tour next month. It begins on April 22 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and ends on May 22 in Portland, Oregon, a month later.
