Kanye West has released a new music video off his Donda album. The visuals for the previously leaked André 3000 collaboration “Life of the Party” appear on Donda (Deluxe). The new video features deepfake performances from photographs of West’s youth and appears with the rapper’s Balenciaga-engineered Yeezy Gap line; sections of Ye’s clips are also featured in a TV commercial for the release. The video does not feature the verse from André 3000.
In fact, “Life of the Party” marks the second major deepfake video featuring Kanye West’s face after the return of “The Heart Part 5,” by Kendrick Lamar.
West debuted “Life of the Party” for the first time at his Donda listening event in Las Vegas a year ago. Shortly afterward, Drake performed a studio-quality excerpt of the song in a guest mix for SiriusXM’s Sound 42.
